Our Team will be happy to bring into the fold a talented UI & Metagame Engineer!
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the UI Development Team.
User Interface and the Meta-game are as crucial as the gameplay itself since our users spend about 50% of their time setting up schemes, tactics, and collecting footballers.
UFL's Meta is a game within a game, operating a large amount of data, thus hard work to improve the game's performance is required. The team is tasked with developing highly performant interfaces that naturally fit into the project architecture and complement core technical features.
In this role you will develop and support meta-game features, and work closely with art and design teams to ensure that UI meets both aesthetic and functional requirements. You will be involved in and directly influence almost every aspect of the game. It's not your standard UI work; the role involves work with shaders, animations and other effects and has a lot of room for creativity. Our tech stack (C++, Unreal Engine and Blueprints) allows Engineers to dive deeply into both gamedev-specific tasks and classical programming algorithms.
