OCTO BROWSER is an anti-detect browser built for traffic management, digital advertising, web scraping, and other business use cases.

It lets you run multiple profiles at the same time while changing the browser fingerprint at the core level. This provides strong protection against account detection on advertising platforms and marketplaces. It supports real device fingerprints, team collaboration, and complete privacy.

OCTO BROWSER is a market leader and has won multiple industry awards and rankings.
We are building native mobile versions of Octo Browser — privacy-focused browsers with per-profile identity isolation. We have two existing apps (Android and iOS) that need to be rewritten and then maintained long-term. We are looking for one developer who can own both platforms, with the main focus on Android.

Required Qualifications
Android (primary focus)
  • 5+ years of native Android development
  • Kotlin: strong expertise, coroutines, modern Android stack
  • Solid understanding of the Android platform internals — processes, lifecycle, IPC, networking
  • Experience building and shipping production apps to Google Play
iOS (secondary)
  • Ability to maintain and develop a native iOS app
  • Swift, UIKit/WKWebView, iOS 17+
  • You do not need to be a senior iOS engineer, but you must be code base be comfortable owning the

General
  • Confident with multi-process / multi-threaded architectures
  • Networking: proxies, TLS, HTTP, low-level debugging
  • Testing discipline (unit + instrumentation)
  • Git, CI/CD

Responsibilities
  • Rewrite and maintain the two mobile apps (Android + iOS)
  • Own the Android app end to end, with iOS as a shared responsibility
  • Implement per-profile isolation, proxy routing and device emulation
  • Work closely with the desktop browser and backend teams

Nice to have
  • Experience with Chromium / WebView internals or browser engineering
  • AAnti-detect / fingerprinting / privacy or security background
  • Reverse engineering, low-level / NDK experience
