Responsibilities:

  • Create, design, and lead the execution of marketing communication (external and internal) strategies according to overall brand strategy and philosophy;
  • Lead a team of marketing communication professionals, including PR, community and social media;
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure consistency of messaging and branding across all channels;
  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials including copywriting, videos, social media content;
  • Identify and analyze market trends, competitive activity, and audience behavior to specify opportunities for growth and improvement;
  • Manage the budget for marketing communication initiatives, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media, influencers, community and opinion leaders, and other relevant partners;
  • Define and implement performance metrics for each communications channel and tracking tools to measure results, provide sensible analysis and reports about the reaction to the marketing activities;
  • Crisis Management: put together a robust crisis communications plan and ensure its communicated to all relevant parties.

Skills and requirements:

  • 3+ years of PR experience in the gaming industry is preferred, although 5+ years of relevant experience in other entertainment and media industries welcome as well;
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a track record of leading successful marketing communication initiatives in the video gaming industry;
  • Thorough understanding of games itself, games industry, as well as the latest marketing communication trends and best practices in the video gaming industry;
  • Comprehensive portfolio (campaigns, messaging, press releases, pitches);
  • Good organizational, planning, and coordination skills - must be able to think analytically and strategically;
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
